On 1 May 2013, Nordic Patent Institute launched a new PCT Supplementary International Search (SIS) product. Now PCT applicants have the option of choosing a less expensive "Nordic" SIS search, where only the documents in Danish, Icelandic, Norwegian and Swedish, held in the search collection of Nordic Patent Institute and its member states are searched.
